Cindy Harris

Practice Manager, Associate Consultant

As a dedicated practice manager and senior associate, Cindy has more than 30 years’ professional experience, including 15 years in the financial industry, specializing in comprehensive financial planning, including strategies for managing corporate accounts, minimizing capital gains, and optimizing retirement benefits.

Cindy holds a QAFP (Qualified Associate Financial Planner), and RRC (Registered Retirement Consultant) designations and is currently pursuing both the CFP (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER) and Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist (CFDS) credentials.

Outside of her professional life, Cindy is married and a proud parent of three boys.

Nicole Rourke RRC

Associate Consultant

Nicole is an Associate Consultant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.  She helps clients navigate their financial journeys and achieve their long-term goals.  Nicole’s focus is specializing in comprehensive financial planning including risk management, optimizing retirement and estate planning.

She holds an undergraduate degree in economics and a master’s degree in business, along with the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and RRC (Registered Retirement Consultant) designations.   She is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist (CFDS) certification.  Outside of her professional role, she is married with two adult children.

Christine De Sousa

Head of Client Experience

Christine started working in the Financial Industry in 2007. She began her career in Insurance, as an insurance broker before transitioning into an advisor support role where her passion for client service took root. This passion eventually guided her into wealth management.

Since joining Sandra’s practice in March 2015, Christine has held various positions, ultimately excelling in her current role as Head of Client Experience. In this role, she truly thrives, leveraging her extensive experience to enhance the client journey. Outside of work, Christine has also earned a certification as a life coach, further broadening her ability to support and guide others.

Khana Sylvester

Administrative Assistant

Khana has more than 15 years of experience in administrative work and office management, leveraging her background to handle all types of transactions and ensuring accurate processing. Her expertise in administrative support and transactional oversight enables Khana to contribute significantly to effective operations and organizational success.

Khana holds a bookkeeping certificate and has a strong personal support worker background. When she is not working, Khana enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Executive Assistant

Sydney Sharples serves as Sandra’s Personal EA, where she is tasked in streamlining operations and ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks. Sydney manages Sandra Ramos’ booking, prepares essential documents, and ensures that all paperwork is in order for meetings.

Bringing over 5 years of experience in customer service, Sydney is adept at handling phone calls addressing client concerns and finding effective solutions enhancing the overall client experience that contributes to the teams mission.

Alessia Valente

Administrative Assistant

With over a decade of administrative experience and robust background in accounts receivable and managing financial records, Alessia provides efficient and smooth-running of client’s financial transactions.  She has exceptional organizational skills and strong communication abilities enabling her to handle complex administrative task with ease.

Alessia has completed general coursework in the Liberal Arts & Professional Studies at York University and Mental Health First Aid for Youth Certificate, as she volunteered with Children’s Aid Society for more than 5 years.

Alessia enjoys being outside taking in the sunshine, watching documentaries, and spending time with family and friends.

Janet Coombs

Assistant

With over 25 years of experience in senior accounting and finance roles, Janet is a seasoned professional known for her expertise in financial management and strategic accounting. As an Assistant, Janet combines her extensive background in accounting with a deep understanding of financial analysis and planning.

Janet holds a CPA designation and has continuously stayed at the forefront of industry developments, ensuring her expertise remains cutting-edge. Her dedication to the field, coupled with her wealth of experience, underscores her role as a trusted advisor in the accounting and finance sectors.

Avneet Brar

Licensed Administrative Assistant

Avneet Brar is a licensed administrative assistant with a Bachelor of Arts and a diploma in Human Resource Management. With over two years of experience in the financial industry and an IFIC license, she brings a strong background in financial administration and client relations.
